it's pink!
Way back in the autumn we planted some lilies in a tub on our patio. By early summer, as the buds were forming, we'd forgotten what colour the blooms would be. Today we found out.

What a beautiful portrait Ken (as always). It looks perfectly pink on my monitor.

Re: it's pink!
I suppose it could have been. We've had snails and slugs for years (I think we're on a migration route) but this is the first time our lilies have been so ravaged.stuck wrote: ↑04 Aug 2020, 12:32Are you sure it wasn't the infamous lily beetle?jonwallace wrote: ↑04 Aug 2020, 11:36Ours developed a stalk and two buds, then the snails ate the whole lot

I've found that cheap beer in a shallow dish works wonders on snails and slugs . . . especially slugs.

I'm sorry, Dave, but I can be so stupid at times.
Do the snails like the guitar music, or are they supposed to be repelled by it?
Cheers
