I am not very good with Out Look. I am using Out Look 2007.
I created a folder named Contacts_2012_Grants that shows up under the built-in Contacts.
I have imported data and it looks workable but the strange thng is -when I create a new email and click on the Address Book, then select Contacts_2012_Grants,
I only see 3 columns of data: Name, Display Name and email Address.
I would like to be able to see some of the other information that is in the folder, such as City.
Are custom contact folders restricted to those 3 columns, when viewed thru the Address Book?
Thanks

I always see only those three columns in Address Book, regardless of which folder is displayed.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: OL 2007 problem with new contacts folder
Thanks Hans
I am used to seeing what is shown in the Global Address List
Name
Title
Business Phone
Location
E-Mail Address
Company
Alias
I cannot add to that one (Company Controlled) and I wanted them in a seperate folder anyway.
Thanks anyway and have a Great Weekend

The Global Address List is an Exchange folder, not an Outlook folder...
You can view all information in the folder itself, though.
