Not needed this till recently, but it seems to be missing from the fill options for shapes . I'm currently creating the shapes in Word (with a pattern fill) then pasting into PowerPoint, which is not ideal.

Can this option be enabled???

According to PPTAlchemy the best way to do this is to copy from Word, but they do suggest using format painter if you want to create the shapes in PowerPoint, and they also have a free add-on that puts a pattern fill tool in the Ribbon.

Cheers Stuart, the add-on is limited to black and white, with no option to alter the colours... ho hum.
