Lately I have problems when ckicking a URL in a message. Eventually the correct site turns up in Firefox 4.0 correctly but an error message is displayed. See an example below.
Anybody any ideas?

Is this only with Firefox 4?Teunis wrote:Anybody any ideas?
Does it only happen with re-directed URL's? (If you look at the second attachment, your 'click-through' appears to be being tracked....)
Otherwise, does Fix Outlook 'General Failure' Error for E-Mail Links - PCWorld help?
(I recommend you back-up your registry or export the key before trying this.)

Yes it does only happen with re-directed URLs. But I followed your "General Failure" link and applied their solution, and it seems to work.
Thanks a lot.

That might be a 'safety' feature within Firefox. I'm not running Firefox 4 here, but Ver.3 certainly appears to have the ability to identify redirects: Good to know the fix seems to be working - thanks for reporting back!Teunis wrote:Yes it does only happen with re-directed URLs.
