I'm wondering if there is a cheap solution next time this happens:
Early this morning I fired up the browser and hit "View new posts"; there were about 25 or so, a healthy diet to go with my morning oatmeal.
Calamity struck and I had to reboot.
Now (noon) of course "View new posts" isn't returning the results it did this morning, so I am faced with some sort of manual inspection of each forum.
I have tried issuing a Search command, but I can't seem to get any results without some sort of search term, and it seems to me that any search term will serve to exclude some posts.
The closest 1-click solution I've found is "View active topics".
But there is always a better way ...?
Best method to reclaim "View new posts"?

Does "View unread posts" get close to what you want?

I don't know the inner workings of the Lounge software but I assume that once you have hit "View new posts", that they are no longer "new" posts but are now "old' posts in the eyes of the Lounge coding?

Thanks, Stuart, I missed that one.StuartR wrote:Does "View unread posts" get close to what you want?
From what I see I suspect that
"View unread posts" works best after a short absence (say for me 12 hours)
"View new topics" works best after an extended absence (for me, say 3 days)
There is a grey area, of course; Quantities May Vary(TM)
