Re: A green path
It's warming up now, but we've had a relatively cool and damp spring, so everything is still very green.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: A green path
Looks like a pleasant place to go for a walk. Our spring was very wet here and now there's sunshine, some of our garden plants are the best we have seen them in the 5 years we have been here. We have a palm tree with about 20 flowers coming. Usually there are 3 or 4, last year there was one!

Re: A green path
It is! It's low-lying terrain, so it's too wet to walk there in winter (unless it is frozen). In previous years, it was accessible from late March or April, but this year, my first walk was last week...
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: A green path
Same here.
Except for my arms which after messing around in the garden for most of the weekend are now bright pink.
Ken
PS I did put sun screen on my arms before I sat down and relaxed yesterday afternoon but that was clearly too little too late.

It's OK, my arms aren't sore, they are just an unnatural colour.

Re: A green path
Have you tried Nikes?
For Hikes?
OK, I'll bite: How is walking (in the image shown) alone, basically flat land, different from Niksen?
I ask because on my long drives across and around the USA, I found something which seems to be akin to Niksen when driving at just under the speed limit on the interstate highway system. For example this six-hour stretch.
Cheers, Chris

Re: A green path
'Niksen' is more like a leisurely stroll in the park, sitting on a park bench, having a cup of coffee in the local café, etc.
Walking at a brisk pace in the countryside is not really 'niksen' in my opinion.
