If you fancy a look, Venus is in a fairly close conjunction with the Pleiades over the next couple of nights.
Use binoculars for an even better view.
Also, Subaru is the Japanese word for the Pleiades, so Subaru cars have an image of the Pleiades as a badge.

Well, that little gem certainly justified the annual cost of my lounge subscription. My across-the-street neighbor owns a Subaru. I can now casually drop that little tidbit into our next conversation. Keep up the good work, Graeme!
