Re: Optical Illusion
Even though I have seen this one before, I still find it hard to see what is actually right in front of me

Re: Optical Illusion
Yes,, they are two perfectly regular circles. But when I focus on one side of the picture, the shapes appear to intersect on the other side, to me at least.
Best wishes,
Hans

I see multiple circles, all fuzzy!
Meanwhile, this still boggles my mind:

Re: Optical Illusion
What I see changes as my eyes track down then up. Hans, I think I "see" what you see. It's the black and white stripes in the circles that do it. My eyes want to follow those lines from the middle circle to the outer, making me think they are linked. Or rather, linking and unlinking. Dizzying effect, indeed!

I love Dorothy Parker. I've got a collection of quotes from her.

Wow. Good one!

Re: Optical Illusion
I can see the face, but I rarely recognise faces, so I can't tell you who it is

Re: Optical Illusion
I can see what I think is my face, although a large part of my face is blocked, so it could be an illusion caused by the bright sunlight bouncing off the snow outside:- Cheers, Chris

Re: Optical Illusion
I am confused.
I now see what I think are TWO images of part of my face, and realize that when I first looked at the image I saw a reflection of my face in the screen, which is why I took that first photo which, sadly, does NOT seem to show my reflection.
Sorry about that
Chris

Re: Optical Illusion
No. But the lines move and some seem to change from black to blue.

Re: Optical Illusion
I get a glimpse of the face but then it's gone. But then when I look at a dark background I see a textured effect! But that might be because I thought it might be one of those 3D images that you have to stare at for a while!
