Dear members.
Since I am new to this I thought I would introduce myself instead of barging in with my usual sense of humour that might be misconstrued as something it is not.
I am a teacher (graphic design and web design) and illustrator.
I fell in love with computers from the first time I had an OS2 machine, prodding at menus and being frowned upon by my dad who told me to 'not touch anything'. But I really just checked things out and didn't change settings. I worked for his small company, from home Avant La Lettre. The innocence of my computer nosiness didn't matter to him: if anything did not work it was my fault and he would come running to get 'the machine' working again, while I of course managed quite well and could instead give him some tea once he arrived.
I use Adobe software (except the video ones because Reasons), and Office software. I focus on style though, VBS and so on is lost on me because I had other things to do such as HTML, CSS, some PHP. More fun! I already can feel the burn of some members now.
Well, that's it for my introduction. No wait: I have cats.

Hello LineLaline
I've just started to have a play with HTML and CSS and finding it very frustrating!
Welcome to the forum.

Not a problem; Eileen's Lounge has a Cooking forum.Well, that's it for my introduction. No wait: I have cats.
Cheers, Chris
P.S. Welcome to Eileen's Lounge. We need a bit more quality in the confidence/courage/abrasion/ablation department because I am about to get fired, and then Eileen's Lounge will need a replacement.
Your rate of posting is borderline at 2.00 posts per day, but then, I guess that wherever you live is not as windy/wet/snowy/cold as Bonavista, so you get more time to play outside.
What used to be your passionate pastime before you joined Eileen's Lounge?
P.M. me if you want the low-down on John Gray.

Re: Hello
Thank you!
Big frownie for the suggestion of using the cooking forum because I have cats
And yes I only posted two messages but each message had to be checked, Big Operator told me, so I thought I would wait to see if they got through.
My passionate pastime before Eileen's lounge? Well it's my job, really. I am not sure if I will be able to post very often but i found this forum and thought 'oh, seems like a nice bunch of folks'
