Hello team,
I have a table in Excel.
The lines are total lines. I inserted a pivot table, I grouped by plan and I summed num1, num2, num3, then from this table by index and match i pulled the data to insert these numbers on my dashboard.
Rows are same in some of the columns but they are different across the rows.
How could I display this arrangement? Any Help?
Regards,
BittenApple

Re: How to manage the data?
Hello Hans,
I grouped the data with a Measure and Num1. Then I was able to see the num1 one time only for all rows.
I had this notion that we shouldn't group by number; here, the numbers were whole numbers without decimals, for this case worked.
I worked it in Microsoft Access, ran the query, I brought the result into Microsoft Excel and then I did a pivot table on it and compared the counts with data from original data.
I compared the result of query with the raw data, on filter they result were same, but they were not same in grand total though!!!
Regards,
Tea
