Re: Some Heavenly Sights for the Holidays
Thanks for the link. There some awesome and awesomely beautiful photos in the catalog.
This is my favorite, so far. I've renamed it Bert lahr because it reminds me of him as The Cowardly Lion.

Re: Some Heavenly Sights for the Holidays
That really is a great collection of images.
I'm hoping to get a clear night here for an attempt at Caldwell 11, the Bubble Nebula, as it's in a good position at the moment. But my one might not match the Hubble image!
Regards
Graeme

If you do, Graeme, there's a high-paying job awaiting you at NASA.

I hope you tried again. I don't know why the link failed for you then, but I just tried again and it's working.
Happy holidays!

Re: Some Heavenly Sights for the Holidays
Thanks PJ; I have not gotten back there yet, but I feel that their 404-mesdsage (image above) was better than any Hubble view (grin)
Yep! It is Winter Solstice Lunch Party today!Happy holidays!
When I wake tomorrow :-
(1) The days will be getting longer (albeit colder) and
(2) The pension will be in.
I don't know which is more exciting!
Cheers
