Have you tried the original Ctrl_Alt_Del followed by Return?
Yes, Leif, and many other methods. I am tabulating them as I go.As an example I think of a situation where I want an Immediate and no-questions-asked shutdown (some kind of emergency) and another situation where I want every open document hands-free-saved before the shutdown and then a third (such as the regular shutdown) where Windows pauses for a few seconds "do you want to save", and even a fourth where nothing happens until I have saved.
Steve Gibson's Wizmo provides an express exit for the first scenario.

The truth is there are many situations and many applications, and a one-size-fits-all is not for me!
