Here is the situation:
My small group of collaborators share an excel file that shows the revenue and expenses of our project through a view-only dropbox link.
Only the admin can edit it, and the rest only have the permission to view it using the link.
The problem is that the admin needs to constantly apply filters to facilitate the work.
When a filter is applied to the excel file, that is what the viewers have to see through the Dropbox link, without any ability to disable the filter.
There can be other solutions to this problem, but what I'm thinking is to create a mirror-image tab for viewing only.
So the original tab will be the working tab for our admin, where filters and sorting will be applied, whereas the mirrored-tab ill be for the ease of viewing, where every single entry will be visible on the Dropbox-rendered page.
I've did some google search on this, but discussion focuses on mirrored sheets, not mirrored tabs.
Any suggestions?
A tab that dynamically mirrors another tab's data only
