Page color changes in duplicate window
I have a document with a gray page color (under Design | Page Background group). When I open a duplicate window of the document, the duplicate window does not display a gray page color. It display as white. Can I get all instances of the document to display with a white background?

Re: Page color changes in duplicate window
If you have multiple windows open on the document, changing the page color will apply to all windows.

Re: Page color changes in duplicate window
I am referring to a situation in which I have a document open, change the page color and then open a second window. The second window does not have the page color that I set for the first window; the page color shows up as white.
In the second windows, under Page Color, I see gray selected, but the page color is white. If I click on gray under Page Color, the page color turns gray, but I want to avoid that extra step each time I open a new window.

Word doesn't support that, sorry. You can post a request on UserVoice for Word for Windows (Desktop Application)
Best wishes,
