I want to connect wi-fi modem router to wi-fi router, i have 2 scenarios:
scenario 1:
1- lan to wan connection
2- enable dhcp & NAT on the modem router
3- disable dhcp & NAT on the wi-fi router
4- change the default ip address of the wi-fi router to different subnet
Will it work!? , can i share files in this setup ?!
==================================
scenario 2:
1- lan to wan connection
2- enable dhcp & NAT on the modem router, and create scope of IP Addresses, starts: 192.168.1.1 Ends: 192.168.1.50
3- enable dhcp & NAT on the wi-fi router, and create scope of IP Addresses, starts: 192.168.1.51 Ends: 192.168.1.100
Will it work!? , can i share files in this setup ?!

Re: Alternatives to Bridge Mode
I usually enable DHCP and NAT on the device nearest to the WAN, and configure any further devices in passthrough mode. This works well provided the passthrough devices support this mode.
An alternative is to buy devices specifically designed for running a mesh WiFi network.
