As of today, if I (and colleagues) right click on a red-underlined, i.e. on a mispelt word, instead of getting suggestions Outlook just closes.
A 'quick repair' and restart does not cure the problem and we have no third party Add-ins.
A Google search turns up people reporting this a long time ago and with no obvious fix but this is the first time it's hit our office.
Anyone else seeing this issue?

No problems on this side...
I assume its when you attempt to correct spelling in a new composed email that this happens?
Are you on 32-bit or 64-bit?
I'm running 32-bit version:

No problems in the non-365 version of Outlook 2019 (32-bit) either...
Best wishes,

Re: spell check makes outlook (365) crash
It appears to be an issue with the particular version of Outlook 365 we've got. Those of us with this issue are still on 1805. Colleagues who are on the latest version, 1811, don't get the issue.
