I often need to have a reminder pop up on my screen to remind me to do something or go to an appointment, etc. I have been using one kind of pop-up message for years but I'm hoping that by now there might be a better way. What technique is the most convenient for producing reminders for me?
Thanks,
Bill

If you have Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, you might try RemindMe for Windows (free)

It may be overkill for what you want but Microsoft To-do supports reminders.
