Just used Trend Micro's free "HouseCall for Home IoT devices". Brilliantly easy to use and it's FREE.
It showed my printer had 2 slightly risky open ports [21, 23]. And my Netgear router had one [23].
I have searched the web and cannot find how to close those ports.
Anyone know how I can close them?
How do I close ports on my WiFi printer?

Start Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Select any of the installed printers.
Click 'Print server properties' in the bar near the top of the window.
Activate the Ports tab.
See what you can do there.

For Netgear routers, see How do I block services from the internet on my router using the NETGEAR genie user interface?

Re: How do I close ports on my WiFi printer?
I just downloaded and tried the Trend Micro HouseCall, and it is easy to use. I'm not sure I trust it, though.
It told me that my router (ActionTec MI424WR) had an open port 23. However, the router's own software shows that port 23 is closed, and Steve Gibson's ShieldsUP! says my system is completely stealthed, with none of the first 1056 ports open.
At least HouseCall had no complaints about my WiFi printer.

Thanks guys. Didn't find any joy there, but as it has been going OK for a long while, I'll just trust my BitDefender security software.
