computer suffers from insomnia
When I put my compter to SLEEP, without any command it soon reboots -awakens- , what might be causing this and how can I rectify this irritating reaction? Dave.

Re: computer suffers from insomnia
Thanks Hans, having just recently bought a wireless mouse that could well be the cause so I've unticked the box as directed in the first optional remedy so will see if that does the trick...Many thanks Dave.

Re: computer suffers from insomnia
The same article also provides some other suggestions, and it ends with a description of a rather technical way to find out what causes your computer to wake. So your options aren't exhausted yet.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: computer suffers from insomnia
.....thanks Hans, I did read the entire article but concluded that the last section is what I regard as out of bounds in light of my limited knowledge of the more complex workings / settings of computers. I may delve a little deaper and see what I can comfotablyu do but putting the computer to sleep is not essential though it is a hand facility to have at mealtimes. Regards dave.
