Just clip, store and paste, Something like Snippet but with multiple store capacity.

What is your complaint about the 2 you've tried, VBob? What functionality are you seeking that they are missing?

It's the other way around. Too much crammed into what I want, just a "KISS."

I was looking at an application today called
clipa.vu . it is very inexpensive (less than US$8) and seems to be very robust.
Has anyone experience with this?

Try
OneNote . Free & very easy to use. Runs on just about any device. It may do more than what you want but then again you may find more uses for it once you get to know it better.

I use OneNote while doing Family Research and is a very handy tool.
And it comes with most current versions of MS Office.

I also use OneNote although maybe not to its potential. I mainly use it the way I used to use MS Binder - where I can collect all sorts of related information.
I was more interested in a clipboard manager that would hold a number of items that could quickly and repeatedly pasted various places.
