Just hoping for any ideas.
Every couple of days my main Windows 7 Pro PC now crashes with stop 0xA, and after the dump has been written it returns to the previous screen - but keyboard and mouse are disabled, leaving no option but to power off/on.
No new hardware has been added (I've even disconnected an external USB hard drive), but of course Windows updates happen continually.
I've never before met a situation where, after what appears to be a significant Blue Screen event, the previous screen has been returned, and am puzzled.
Any thoughts, please? Thanks!

I'd concentrate on trying to debug the BSOD. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Windows 7 Blue Screen Error has quite a few hints and links for debugging this error.
