Posting question
I could not find it in the FAQ so must ask... how do you post a 'friendly' link so that the viewer sees something descriptive rather than the URL itself? Seems like the old lounge had tags for that.

Re: Posting question
See the Creating Links section in the BBCode guide.
The format is exactly the same as in Woody's Lounge/Windows Secrets Lounge:

Re: Posting question
Thanks Hans - I think it would be useful to put something in the FAQ about accessing the BBC Code guide. Or at least put a link to it somewhere. It is a little difficult to find normally - have to be in Post the click on BBCode on the right (under the smiles).

Re: Posting question
There is also a link in the "Menu" in the lower left corner of the Portal that is our "start page".
And the Words From On High forum contains several tutorials, among which a Tutorial: BBcodes.
(We may reorganize the tutorials sometime in the future)

Also, if you use Firefox, Leif (I think) posted a link to this addon that has been doing wonderfully for me:dasadler wrote:I could not find it in the FAQ so must ask... how do you post a 'friendly' link so that the viewer sees something descriptive rather than the URL itself?
