Evil Jezza
Tee Hee
A little early by a while but it was worth every penny to see her face. Jezzarette 1 broke up for her Easter break today and was proudly wafting around the log cabin telling us she had a lie in tomorrow. I scuttled off to my study and took a local copy of her school website and then changed the rotating news banner to
Late News--All Year 11 French students must attend school on the Thursday after we break up for an important revision update. Please attend school at 8.00am
I hid the navigation bar to hide the local URI and then shouted up to her, obviously she refused to accept that it was true until I showed her the mock web site....her jaw dropped, she was flabbergasted, leaving her to fluster and bluster for a few minutes I scrolled down a bit and showed that the update had been added by Poisson d'Avril
Ooohh if you have ever seen a young teenage bear cub flounce before, this was the time as she stomped off

Not evil at all -- just fulfilling your role as an attentive and conscientious father.
My 4 year-old granddaughter has already learned to double-check unusual pronouncements from her father. She's usually a pretty good sport about it, too; but as a consequence she's developing an early taste for practical jokes herself.

You do know, don't you, that teenagers will get you back in the end. Best not to rile them up too much. And hide your car keys. Just a thought.

And in the stuck household the latest fit was because stuckling1 slammed the bathroom door for the umpteenth time and, as predicted umpteen times, finally broke it. Yup, split the wooden door.Doc Watson wrote:I know that raising them to adulthood give one fits.

I suspect that the child will now enjoy a trip down to B&Q to purchase a replacement door...

My brother told his daughter that if she slammed the door one more time he would remove it.
She now knows that he doesn't make idle threats. She did without her bedroom door for three months!
