You must have been there a few milliseconds later than Chris, Rudi!

Eerily though, still no sign of a car, so, are we really sure that it's actually a road, or, could that part just have been photo shopped ???
Cheers, Claude.

You may or may not be interested in the fact that I actually saw one over Nicosia, Cyprus in the 1960s.

Before you say you don't believe me, let me say that I don't care. I know what I saw.

Rudi, thanks for sharpening the image, adding some contrast and adjusting the gamma. Now I can clearly see the UFO in the sky and the Sasquatch in the treeline. Didn't realize that the Sasquatch ranged so far south.

As for what Chris sees...?

Paul

Sorry for the delay; I am rebuilding drive C: while unpacking.
We were bopping along Highway 331, northbound when i saw this.

The power company have trimmed trees with near-micro precision.
When I spotted it it looked like an optical illusion, as if a very large mirror was reflecting the sky behind us.
Then I saw(!) that a channel had been sawn(!) right through a tree, a rectangular shape.
By the time I wrestled the camera out of my pocket we were passing at an oblique angle, so I did not get the 3-D channel effect.
But by happenstance (can I say that?) the speed limit sign filled in part of the gap.

Looking right through the gap you can see the lifeless branches of a tree a few dozen yards further on, and further to the right of the road.

I never noticed that before as the sign board took the attention away from that gap....in retrospect, it is an unusual sight..., but in happenstance, maybe the UFO shot a laser down and trimmed the tree to a near 90 degree angle.

No way, pal.
We spent 18 days down there and we had fog, hypothermic wind-chill, fog, rain, fog, snow, fog, ice and at most 70 degrees.
And even that was in the cheap Fahrenheit currency they use across the border.

I can't work out why the speed limit of 45 (mph?) is strictly prohibited...

Its not prohibited....its strictly enforced. So you must travel at this speed or greater, but NOT less. This is because there are Bigfoot's and UFO's it the area and they are dangerous for various reasons.
