2nd annual Gingerbread House Display
Pictures of my oldest son's annual masterpiece of a Chefs Gingerbread House.
Last year he created the huge "A Christmas Carol" street scene but this year he downsized a bit ( like everyone else ) but still created a prize winner with the depiction of Highhead Lighthouse in Truro, here on the Cape. It shows the "Keepers" house near the Light and the original Oil house to the right. ( you know what the little shed is in the left background )
I thought the clever use of Shredded Wheat pieces to depict the beach grass was a great idea. Proud Dad.

Congrats...it's really an amazing work of art.
One question: What happens to those creations after the event and the photos? Is it good to gobble or is it left to natural processes?

Re: 2nd annual Gingerbread House Display
Afraid not. I usually see them as a work in progress and then the finished product pictures after he shows them at his work place. Rob has been doing these for a few years now and every one is different and very unique. A ton of work goes into creating them.Rudi wrote:Well I'm sure sure Mother Nature really does enjoy them.viking33 wrote:Sorry to say, It's the latter. Son Rob just made his 15 minutes of fame by being featured on the local video, with some details of the construction of this years project.
