The lounge will reach 100,000 posts in the next 48 hours...

And a 1/4 of those has come from our favourite lounger.

Quick observation.
How does this calc out? My latest post value is more than the total post value.

The post number displayed in the post itself reflects the total number of posts submitted at the time of posting (including the post itself). [Tech speak: it is the AutoNumber field of the posts table in the Lounge database]

The "Total posts" count displayed under Statistics in the Lounge Portal doesn't include posts that have been deleted, in most cases by the poster, in a few rare cases by the admins. So 99931 - 99838 = 93 posts have been deleted.

And for a bit of further clarification. The most common reason for an administrator to delete a post is because someone posted exactly the same thing twice in the same forum, usually because of a network glitch.

Like when Rudi is trying post number one hundred thousand and an admin accidentally deletes it

Great timing....

The prize however is for the one who gets the 100000th post based on the lounge count...and I'm aiming for the choccie and the 5 zeros

BTW Hans...what wine and vintage was that on offer?

In hind sight...I take that ALLLLL back.... It seems the prizes were for the post (as per keyID).... I missed it
