Re: Wireless Printer - Static IP Address
I think everything went smoothly thanks to the help I got here. BTW I did get an additional switch and used the Ethernet connection. One thing did arise that I didn't expect because it was not listed in the instructions I downloaded from Kodak's site on how to assign a static IP address to my printer. It asked for the IP Address, The Subnet Mask, and The Default Gateway all of which I was prepared for. Then it asked for a DNS Server address which I googled and found out how to obtain. The only confusion is that I had 2 DNS addresses listed. I used the first one and my printer seems to be working fine. Why did I have 2 DNS addresses and did I choose correctly in choosing the first one listed? Thanks.

Most devices allow you to specify two DNS servers, so that if one doesn't respond they will try the other. If your printer only allows one then just assign one of the two and don't worry about it.
Normally you would specify the WRT54G as your DNS server
