How do I add Skype to my icon tray so that the Skype icon with a checkmark will show on the bottom right of my Windows 7 screen whenever I am signed on? Please note the icon tray is different from the Taskbar. The Taskbar in Windows 7 displays large icons of all programs running. The icon tray displays mini icons of programs in the background.
Thank you

Re: How to display Skype in the icon tray
I have right clicked my taskbar, gone to Properties, clicked on Customize ... under Notification area, and set Skype to "Show icon and notifications," but it still isn't showing up.

Re: How to display Skype in the icon tray
Skype 4.2 and later minimize to the taskbar instead of to the notification area (icon tray) by default. To change this:
In Skype, select Tools | Options...
In the navigation pane on the left, click on Advanced.
Clear the check box "Keep Skype in the taskbar while I’m signed in".
Click Save.

Click Save.
Best wishes,

Re: How to display Skype in the icon tray
This causes Skype to appear in the Taskbar; I want it in the icon tray (notifications tray). I found that this was fixed after I restarted my computer.
