Hi -
Is it possible when shutting down WinXP to also shut down the sound?
I have a shortcut
%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0
to shut down and would like to add whatever to also turn off the sound.
Thank you.

Best wishes,

I don't know how to do this with software, but there are hardware solutions which can power off peripheral equipment when you power down the PC. See for example http://www.oneclickpower.com/store/gbu0 ... MP205.htmlcurious wrote:...I am after turning off the loud speaker's "on light." (WIll you tell me to get a robot to do this?)
