Want to see the entire folder structure for your project without endlessly clicking on the PLUS signs in the left-hand pane?
1. Select the project folder
2. Tap the asterisk (*) key in the numeric keypad section of your keyboard.
Be prepared to wait if you have a large number of sub folders.
Toggle the expanded view by using the PLUS (+) and MINUS (-) keys in the numeric keypad section of your keyboard.

That's a useful shortcut, but it's not new to Windows 7, I think it was introduced in Windows 95.
Best wishes,

OK. Then, can we please have the Win95 forum back?HansV wrote:That's a useful shortcut, but it's not new to Windows 7, I think it was introduced in Windows 95.
I wondered where to post it. I figured Windows General was probably correct, but that most readers by now would be into Win7, since I have made the change, and I'm usually last.
I'm OK if it gets shunted over the WinGen.

OK, I've moved it from the Windows 7 forum to the Windows General forum. There's still a link in the Windows 7 forum.
Best wishes,
Hans

I'm still on XP both at work and home and am likely to be like that for a while yet.ChrisGreaves wrote:most readers by now would be into Win7, since I have made the change, and I'm usually last.
I also have a Win98 laptop at home that gets occasional use and a Win 2000 laptop at work that gets even less occasional use
