The video loads for me, although I often have problems viewing BBC videos...

IF you have some ad blockers (like I have on one but not the other computer), it'll block the ad before the actual video, which doesn't play unless you've been brainwashed beforehand.
More and more sites are using this technique and I haven't found a way around it yet.
So, of course, first thing I'll do tomorrow, because I watched the video, is I'll go and buy a car !

I think it is because some of the in house applications actually don't work with IE9

The last release of our software will not work with IE 9, but the next one will. So we are asking our customers to be patient and so far have had good feedback. But the press is on and it is clear the customer base wants to upgrade to IE 9. Luckily a fair number of other products that use IE integrations are telling their customers the same thing.
