If there's a better URL for public consumption, please, what is it?
I'm experimenting with WordPress, Google Sites and others, thinking of migrating away from my own compiler.
I installed WordPress and set up a post and a couple of pages, so far so good.
I'd like to use a Redirect from http://www.ChrisGreaves.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to point to the "Home page" or "First Post" on the WordPress site.
For the past 24 hours I've been admiring my handiwork at http://www.chrisgreaves.com/WP/. It is a draft version, but the little "Edit" link bothers me.
That "Edit" link suggests that my url http://www.chrisgreaves.com/WP/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is what I use for editing, and is not the url that I should use/publish for the admiring public. OTOH I'm still in my first 24 hours with Word Press so maybe that's all normal?
Thanks

You probably see Edit because you're the editor (logged in). I don't see the Edit link.
Best wishes,

Thanks.
Why didn't I think of that?

If you have privileges, you will see an Edit link on every page and post.
Good luck choosing a theme: they all seem to have so many strong points and just one or two totally annoying weak points...

I struggled with themes/templates years ago with BlogSpot. Today I thought of my audience (CEOs), figured "Something sober" and picked one.
I look back over other people's blogs and realize that any not-too-fancy theme lets me focus on the content.
Something like Eileen's lounge (default skin), actually ...
