Going Passwordless.
Hello, I have just been checking my Microsoft accounts. It suggests going passwordless by using MS Authenticator App. I am using Google Authenticator but not sure of action to take. Any suggestions ???
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

It is good to use an authenticator app as a second factor, much better than using SMS or email to send you a code. I still like to use a password as well.

Hello StuartR, I have a few Microsoft accounts 1 Gmail, 2 hotmail.com + 1 outlook.com. I don't intend t try it for now, as I have just replaced LastPass with Dashlane.

I have both Google Auth and Microsoft Auth apps on my phone. Some sites use one, some the other. They're both convenient. My gripe is that none of the financial sites I deal with -- banks, brokerages -- support any authentication apps for 2FA.

Re: Going Passwordless.
Hello Jay, my Android phone has a password, face & fingerprint and Dashlanes app. As I bank with RBS I just use my finger to get access.
All my passwords are very strong.

Re: Going Passwordless.
My pet hate is my phone provider, to log in, they send me an email with a code to login. If I need to ask one of the agents a question, I get logged out and need to repeat as stated. They have an email address but never reply.
