How to open my wife's email on my PC
My wife's PC has failed, and I would like to let her use mine to read her email until hers is fixed. How do I add her email to my laptop without disturbing my own email on my laptop?
Thanks,
Bill Wilson

I should have explained that I would like to let her use my laptop, not my email, to read her email. How do I add a second email address to my laptop?

What email application do you use?
What email service provider does she use?

I use sent.com which is an alias for fastmail.fm. The service provider is fastmail.fm if I understand your question correctly.
If I didn't reply with what you needed, please try asking again.
Thanks,

Where do you view your mail? In (for example) Windows Mail, Microsoft Outlook (the desktop application), Mozilla Thunderbird? Or in your browser?
Best wishes,
Hans

The easiest way to do this is probably for your wife to access her email using a web browser. Fastmail has a very good web based user interface. It even provides a very simple "Switch User" option in the main menu, so it can be logged in to two different accounts at the same time.

Hans,
I use sent.com which I believe is part of Mozella Thunderbird.

sent.com is an email provider.
Thunderbird is an application that lets you access email from any email provider.
See StuartR's suggestion above.

StuartR,
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't know how to do that! I'm very old and have forgotten nearly everything I ever knew! So, if you can give me some more specific instructions I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
BillW

StuartR,
When I click on the FastMail link you provided I am taken to my own email inbox. I don't see any menu there!
Sorry to be so inept!
Thanks,

Bill,
If you are already logged in to Fastmail then you need to select "Switch User" from this menu...

Thanks Stuart. That screen image looks familiar but I haven't figured out how to get to it! Sorry for the failures along the way. I'm hoping you or Hans can try one more time to get me straightened out!
Thanks,

I got that menu to appear by clicking where you can see the hand icon near the top left corner of the web browser

Hans & Stuart,
I finally did the correct thing and was able to log my wife into her email!
