Good old Mozilla, I could hover on a menu link and read its name befor the update. Now it looks like this:-
- Google Chrome is unaffected.

Re: Update: Firefox100.0 released
Google Chrome is a completely separate / independent browser so why would Chrome be anything other than unaffected by this update to Firefox?
As for the highlighting making it hard to read the text of the menu item you can restore Ye Olde Looke and FeeleTM if you are prepared to poke around:

Re: Update: Firefox100.0 released
Hi Ken, I used to prefer FF as it switched to a new tab when a link was clicked automatically. There are a few other reasons I use Chrome I.E. spacing when 'Bookmarks are opened.

Firefox still does have / always has had the ability to switch to a new tab when a link was clicked. You just need to tick the relevant setting:Percy Vere wrote: ↑04 May 2022, 09:09...I used to prefer FF as it switched to a new tab when a link was clicked automatically...
1) Open Firefox
2) Click on the 'hamburger' / three horizontal lines in the top right corner
3) Click on 'Settings' (or may be 'Options' if FF is not fully up to date)
4) The page that opens is the one for General settings, the second section on that page is for Tabs
5) Tick the option for 'When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately'

My FF has been set like that for ages, it's just that I prefer Chrome.
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

Re: Update: Firefox100.0 released
Fair enough, you are allowed to prefer Chrome, but your post wasn't that explicit. It implied you'd switched from FF because it lacked this feature, so I thought I was helping by explaining how FF implements this feature.

Hello Ken, I sincerely apologise. At the moment my outdoor bowling club shanghaied a rookie Seniors Match Secretary. He is learning how to do and what and when to do things. To say it's a fool time job is an understatement. No prizes for guessing who it is.
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.
