A question concerning filters. I have a spreadsheet with filters in the column headers row 1 then mostly blank cells until data beginning in row 6.
When applying filters the data isn't filtered contains all still. What Am I doing wrong here

Re: Filter question
The filter range is probably only the header row.
Try the following:
- Turn off the filter.
- Select the entire range that you want to filter.
- Turn on the filter.

Re: Filter question
Related to the filter. There is a column that only contains simple addition formulas and a column of values that leads to the additions. The two sums of the columns are different and should be identical. Is there a way to check the formulas columns to identify any value cells that might be omitted or duplicated? Neither of these two conditions should occur.
ETA:
The value cells are positive and negative and the addition formulas for the most part are 2 cell additions with a smattering of three cell additions.

Re: Filter question
If the number of discrepancies is small, you could use conditional formatting to highlight them, then inspect the formulas in the highlighted cells.
Otherwise, I'd have to see a copy of the workbook.

Re: Filter question
The values are in column G, the formulas are in column O Gx + Gx+1 for the most part but not all.
