I have a table with two columns. On the left column, text that does not fit on the page spills over into the left column that continues on the next page, but the text on the right column gets cut off on the bottom of the page. How can I get the text on the right column to also spill over onto the next page?
I already tried the following suggestions, taken from another forum, to no avail:
"Display the Table Properties dialog box, for example by right-clicking the
table and choosing Table Properties form the context menu. Make sure that
the Text Wrapping is set to "None" in the Table Properties dialog box (Table
tab). For all rows, make sure that "Allow row to break across pages" is
checked (Row tab). Finally, make sure that row contents haven't been
formatted as "Keep with next" (Paragraph dialog box)."

Re: Text at bottom of table cut off
Can you post a sample document with some dummy text that demonstrates the problem?
Best wishes,
Hans

It's on a very long and large file. When I copy the problematic row into a new document, the problem does not recur.

I'm afraid it's impossible for me to know what's going on without seeing the document. Perhaps someone else will have a helpful suggestion.
Best wishes,

Re: Text at bottom of table cut off
Attached is a document that displays the same behaviour, however this one is fixed by doing one of two actions;
1. It is in compatibility mode. If one removes the compatibility status (File > Info > Convert) or simply saves as a new copy so it prompts to upgrade, it resolves the issue.
2. Select the row (or the cell) which contains the text flow issue and in table properties, in the row tab, select the option "Allow row to break across pages"
Since you already tried the break across pages, hopefully the convert option will suffice...

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Text at bottom of table cut off
Word crashed while I was working on the document. After restarting, Word repaired the file and now the row displays the contents correctly.
