What shows up depends both on the version of Word and on your screen size/resolution. Word alters the Ribbon to fit the page. For instance, on my Word 2010, under Insert, there is a Links "group." If I go to a smaller window, that group becomes a "Links" dropdown giving access to the commands in that group. The Mac has different icons for many things.
