Is there a quick way to build a re-useable component in PowerPoint, much like a Style or Autotext in Word?
For example, I want to use a horizontal text box with 16 pt Arial font with center justification as caption. Every time I have to insert a caption, I have to draw a horizontal text box, change the font, font size, and paragraph justification to secure consistency.
If I can somehow automate this whole process, it will be a huge time-saver.
Can you build style-like components that are reuseable?

You could create a slide layout in Master Slide View that has a placeholder for a caption. You can set the formatting of the placeholder the way you want.
Or you could create a separate presentation with elements such as a caption; each time you need such an element, copy and paste it from that presentation into the one you're working with.
