Hello,
I have done this before but can't get it to work now:
Combo box [cmbStatus] with a single field data source, text.
I would like to have it change the color based upon the text value = "Confirm"
I have used field is equal to "Confirm" and the [cmbStatus] = "Confirm"
but neither works.
Thank you for any help.

Re: Conditional formatting on combox box
Try this:
Open the form in design view
Select the textbox control
On the Form Design Tools context ribbon, select Format
In the dialog set up the Field Value to equal "Confirm"
Assign a formatting choice.

Hi Rudy,
I tried that with no luck.
That has worked for me before. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or differently this time.
Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it.

Re: Conditional formatting on combox box
Have you checked if the word "Confirm" does not have leading/trailing spaces? (to cause a mismatch with your C/F)

Re: Conditional formatting on combox box
Any chance you could attach a stripped-down and zipped copy of your database, with only a few records and no sensitive info, that demonstrates the problem?
Best wishes,
Hans

In the process of stripping it down and recreating the problem it began working. Not sure what I was doing wrong but I appreciate the help all the same.
Thanks Rudi and Hans.
