Keep Track Of Recipes

Post by hlewton »

I did a search and didn't find this anywhere here and hope that it is permissible to post this.

I like to keep track of recipes we use in our home, some of which are very old and have been passed down. I had a program that worked well until Windows 7 came out and then I could no longer use it unless I wanted to turn on one of the XP machines. I did some searching and read some reviews and decided on a program called Living Cookbook 2013, which is the latest version at this time.

I really like it and after getting all the recipes transferred from my old program I did some experimenting with it using their great tutorials. This program allows you to download some recipes with only one click where others may take a bit more copying and pasting but the program makes it easy to have all the ingredients, cook time, instructions, etc located in the proper areas for this program to be useful.

Here are some of its features:
Manage your recipe collection
One-click Internet downloads
Choose from over 2 million Internet recipes
Fully integrated with everylastrecipe.com
Plan meals using the meal planning calendar
Calculate nutrition for any recipe, menu or meal
Create grocery lists organized by grocery aisle
Manage your kitchen's inventory
Publish and print cookbooks
Print on any size paper, including index cards
Share your recipes as files or e-mails
Import every major recipe file format
Help file with over 500 help topics
Online support forum with over 32,000 members
