Hi,
I have a user who's F4 repeat is not working?
They say it was working 2 days ago, but now not repeating last action.
is this a keyboards setting, or an Office setting that needs to be checked?

Re: F4 repeat not working
Doesn't it work at all, or for some actions only? Redo is less functional in Excel 2007 and later than in earlier versions - see F4 keyboard shortcut does not work as expected in Excel 2013, Excel 2010, and Excel 2007.
(I assume that you have checked that F-Lock is on if the user has a laptop)

Re: F4 repeat not working
Hi,
It does not work in any of her office apps. (It used to 2 days ago)
The key is not dead as it still cycles through the absolute referencing while in Excel formula edit mode.
Its a standard keyboard...not a laptop. I don't think there is an F-Lock key.
She did change her keyboard a week ago, but as I say F4 was working 2 days ago??
If I had to check keyboard settings, would this be a language setting issue as in US english vs British (or SA) english?

Re: F4 repeat not working
The user just called me up now and told me that after a reboot the F4 is working again.
Not sure what happened to cause it to stop, but it proves (as cliche as it sounds) that a reboot is still an effective niggle solver...
