Suddenly I have to hit Edit/Office clipboard for it to appear. It IS set to Automatically show, Show on Taskbar and Show status...
Please tell me how to get the clipboard to appear automatically (Office 2003) Thank you, as ever.

Re: Office Clipboard display by default
If I remember correctly, the clipboard would automatically appear if you pressed CTRL+C twice.
Double-clicking the icon in the system tray will open the Office Clipboard in the active program.
PS:
Other options you can check:
1.
From the Edit menu, select Office Clipboard, then
From the Options menu on the Clipboard Taskpane, select Show Office Clipboard Automatically and deselect Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard – when you copy more than one item, the Clipboard will appear.
2.
Go to "Tools" in the menu
Click Options
Go to "Edit" tab
Enable "Show paste options buttons"
Enable "Show insert options buttons"
Click OK!

Thank you, Rudi. I fell back on the old reliable of unchecking then rechecking that option in Edit menu and, so far, it's still automatically opening with document.

I'm not sure if this query is resolved? Is it still not working the way you want it to?
