Is there a formula that causes the text or cell change to a color depending on a yes or no answer?
Thanks in advance....

Simple conditional formatting should be able to do this for you

Welcome to Eileen's Lounge!
You can use conditional formatting for this:
- Select the cell or cells.
- On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Equal To...
- In the dialog that appears, enter Yes in the box, then select a format from the dropdown to the right. If you want something not listed, select Custom Format...
- Click OK.
Repeat the above steps, but enter No in the box, and select different formatting.

Re: Formula that yields colors to "yes" and "no"
Thanks for the information. However, I want to be able to do so without conditional formatting....I would like to have a real formula to change the color. Is that possible?
Thanks,

I'm sorry, formulas cannot set formatting.
