Does anyone have any recommendations for software or tools to allow users to only go to a list of approved websites?
Thanks for your ideas and consideration.

Never used these tools but you could try some experiments with Chrome or FireFox add-ons...
-- Whitelist for Chrome
-- Easy Whitelist

I don't have experience with these myself, but the following might help:
Mozilla Firefox: Easy Whitelist
Google Chrome: Whitelist for Chrome
You can also search for Parental Control

Re: Whitelisting of Websites
In addition to the above, I have heard some great things (a while back though) about the free software called: K9 Web Protection
And a long list of alternatives to the K9 suggestion: http://alternativeto.net/software/k9-web-protection/

Re: Whitelisting of Websites
Rudi,
Thanks for the suggestion. I should have indicated that the pc users have the option of Chrome, Foxfire, IE and Opera. So I would need something that works across all browsers. 5 pc's involved. No server, so will need per pc solution.
Thanks

K9 is apparently compatible with many browsers. See this to confirm: http://www1.k9webprotection.com/support/kb/K9124.html
