Wonder if that's only for 32 bit systems? ( I have 64 bit )
I just checked ( twice ) and it says I'm up to date with 25.0

I have 64-bit Windows 7 and Firefox updated itself the first time I opened it after George's post.
Mozilla Firefox remains a 32-bit application for the moment. There are third-party 64-bit versions, such as Waterfox, but not from Mozilla.
Best wishes,
Hans

Pale Moon (http://www.palemoon.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) is an optimized build of firefox which comes in 32 and 64 bit flavours. This forum post gives some info about 64 bit browsers that you might want to read.

Pale Moon appeals to the luddite in me because it is resisting the "modern" UI "improvements" of the mainstream Firefox.

It's where I went when Opera jumped the shark...
