Microsoft has released Service Pack 2 for Office 2010. It's mostly a rollup of all updates and patches released since Service Pack 1.
The easiest way to install it is via Microsoft Update, but stand-alone installers are available for download too.

Thanks for the link to the article which gives the download URLs.
But the fixes don't seem to be wildly important, on first glance!

No, nothing wildly exciting. In the past, Microsoft used to introduce new features in a service pack, nowadays it's mostly a consolidation of earlier patches and fixes...
Best wishes,

Re: Office 2010 SP2 released
Remember that the fixes listed in the spreadsheet are only those that were not publicly available before. They do not include all the fixes in the various cumulative updates. That is not to say there actually is something wildly important but there is more than you might think. I think that with the faster release cadence for the new products we may even stop seeing service packs in the not too distant future especially if the service model (Office 365) becomes the norm.

I believe this included a fix for malware attempt on MS Access (something along those lines anyway)HansV wrote:Microsoft has released Service Pack 2 for Office 2010. It's mostly a rollup of all updates and patches released since Service Pack 1.
