Hello. W7 Home Premium SP1.
There was previously, perhaps a long time ago, an option to set folder options 'for this folder only'. I can't find this option, so any changes I make to a folder affect all of my folders. Is this option still available somewhere pl?
If this option does still exist, is it also possible to 'hide everything'; that is, I only want the title bar and my folder/file list to show.

Re: Keep folder settings
Windows 7 does not have an option to remember each folder's view settings. It does remember the settings for each type of folder, e.g. all folders with image files, all folders with audio files, etc.
You can show/hide the details pane, navigation pane, libraries section, menu bar and preview pane in the Organize > Layout submenu.
