I've been racking my head trying to sort this formula...
Our business has 12 periods per year, but some periods have 5 weeks in them, not 4.
the 5 week periods, are march, may, september, and december
january period, is 2nd to 29th
feb 30th jan to 26 feb
march is 27th feb to 2nd april
etc
etc
i have the date in the table aleady in column A
i have the Julian number in column B (which day of the year, 1-365).
is there a way to place the Period? (1-12), in a column. along with the week number.? week 1 is 2nd to 8th january.

Re: Date Formula..
Why use a formula? The values never change, so just fill them manually. It only takes five minutes, which is probably less than devising a formula would take.
Best wishes,
