Copy, print or save a list of files in a folder" Rudi offers two links to the task.
The first, a registry modification works under Win10 as it did for me under Win7.
The second works well, too.
Both methods are essentially an issuance of the good old dos DIR command, and both provide file lists.
I want more!
I want to capture the "duration" of an audio of video file, referred to as the Length. But as far as I can see the DOS DIR command cannot generate this.
I have experimented briefly with the tool Directory List and print, but at the free level it does not support the length/Duration field.
Before I pay $22 or use my meta-data extraction code in VBA to write my own, does anyone know of a way to obtain that Duration/Length data by basic Windows/DOS means?
Thanks
Chris
